Just picked up a CVA Scout V2 in 35 rem with a Leupold Freedom 3-7x33 from a buddy. Nice little rifle to add to my collection.

I have a marlin 336 in 35 Remington. It’s a sweet shooting gun with a 2-7x32 leupold on it. Mine likes the 200 Winchester super x.

Inherited my Grandpa's Marlin 35 Rem. Excellent shooter.

I've been looking for a marlin but the prices have been more than I wanted to spend.
This one came with a box of 200gr hornadys

Huh, 4 people like your rifle, then 4 people don’t.
Nothing wrong with that cva.

Same here. He bought it sometime after returning from WW2, probably in the early 50’s. Never had a scope on it and still in dang near mint condition. I’d like to kill one deer with it then put it back in the safe.

Those are very nice little rifles. They shoot great.

Most of the factory loadings are sissy loads. Might have to load your own or get some Buffalo Bore ammo.

I have one in 44mag and love it so I couldn't pass this one up for the price. I can't find a lot of info online about them so I'm thinking they didn't make them long.

I bought a single shot .35 Whelen a couple years ago and that’s pretty much all I hunt with now. Killed my biggest buck to date with it.

Dad has an old Remington Model 81 in 35 REM. It was built on a John Browning patent and has the humpback like an A5. The sites fall right into place when you shoulder it.

Pretty sure thats the model and caliber that Hammer used to shoot up Bonny + Clyde.

I also have a CVA 35 Rem. Stainless.
Very hard to find ,been checking Gunbroker for a long time.
Seems they only made them for a brief time.
I love mine , have a safe full of rifles and it's my number one deer machine.
Swings like a Daisy BB gun , weights like one pound and that 35 round is the hammer of Thor on Deer.great Rifle

Let me know when you can find ammo for it. Costs about $4 to pull the trigger for me right now.

Search Ammo seek. Just bought some Hornady 200 grain for $2.49 a round. Best price I could find from Flip ammo.

I get it. It’s scarce. But I really don’t like Hornady stuff just from personal experience

Me either, especially the squishy tip stuff. I've had terrible terminal performance with it in my .30-30 and seen some really bad results from .45-70 as well, which seems impossible shooting deer.
Stick to regular ol 200gr soft points.

Good thing I also inherited about 100 rounds of ammo. I’m out of town right now, but I’ll check the price tags on the old boxes. They were pretty cheap 40 to 50 years ago.
