What’s Your Favorite Singular LSU Moment You Saw in Person?

For me it was Justin Vincent’s run on the first play against Oklahoma in the 2004 Sugar Bowl.
I was a 13 year old kid and my dad and I nearly broke our ankles in the Dome from jumping. My Dad was a long time season ticket holder and brought me to my first game in 1994. We sat through some bad years together and I was blessed to see him shed tears of joy that evening.
Nothing like the first time being on that stage for the first time and winning the whole fricking thing!
Obviously anyone in Omaha in 1996 has a pretty cool one as well.
What was yours!?

Skyler Green 2003 against Georgia or Flynn to Byrd 2007 against Auburn. Both are tied for me

There were so many in 2019 it’s hard to pick a favorite.
Burrow to Jefferson on 3rd and 17 at Texas
Burrow to Chase TD on the opening possession at Bama
Final Clyde TD at Bama
Burrow juking two Georgia defenders to find Jefferson for a huge gain in SECCG
Jefferson embarrassing the Oklahoma defense in Peach Bowl
Burrow to Marshall to put the dagger in Clemson in national championship

So you were born in 1990.

We sat through some bad years togethe

Do better next time.
Since you asked, my favorite moment is storming the field after beating the #1 Florida Gators during my first semester at LSU in 1997.

2013 Auburn when Hill went off in the “stiff dew.”
It was fun to commit to rain and watch that game play out.
2010 bama was also really great. The tight end reverse on 4th down was the moment we knew we were winning the game.

I’m sorry I can still remember my first time in Tiger Stadium.

Hodson to Fuller for the earthquake TD in 1988. About 10 rows up from the field in the corner of the student section.
Top basketball moment I witnessed was just a few months later when we beat UNLV at the buzzer in the PMAC. Student section bottom row for that one.

Either LSU vs Ole Miss 17-16, Bert Jones to Brad Davis, sitting in the south end zone or LSU vs USC 12-17, sitting at the 45 in the student section (back in the day), standing up the whole game.

Singular moment?
I agree with my fellow posters above.
There’s been so many incredible moments since, but 2003 was a much different time. It was my senior year. We were only just starting to finally get our footing. 1958 to 2003 was a loooooong time for LSU fans to wait. This was a monumental moment during that season.

Been to a few big ones. But for me it was beating Florida back in 97. They had skull drug us the year before and looked very strong coming into that game. We had just barely beaten Vandy the week before (and we lost to ole miss the week after). But we had it going that night and the whole town went crazy

JC Copeland down the sideline, Bama 2012
LINK
Not important historically, but in the moment it stands out in my memory.
-2011 title disaster was the year before, wanted this game as much as any i remember
-defensive stalemate and a Les miles offense, big plays were hard to come by and this one was unique. started our comeback (before it fell apart).
-crowd went crazy. You can see the players on the sideline then the camera shaking on the next angle
