Like Dugas got 20K. What is his week pay?
Or his pay per game?
Or his pay per game?

Depends where he starts. The current salaries are $26.2K in Low-A, $27.3K in High A and over $30K in AA. This is for a season. Not sure about Rookie league.

Dang that's below the poverty rate. They get all the taxes back when the file.

It’s less than that. They got moved up to $400/wk last year. But they only work like 27 weeks.

Not much. Even the big bonus babies who say, get a signing bonus of millions and are assigned to High A, get paid at the High A rate of under 30K a season.

They are only paid once the season starts if signed in off season. I’d imagine if out of college they’ll probably get paid once they report but are only paid during the season

In other words, he shouldn’t quit his day job.

Yogi Berra didn't. He worked as a maitre d in the off-season.

Dugas’ bio says he is a two time LSU graduate. I’m sure he’s got plentiful opportunities to make a really good living away from baseball when we that day comes.

You missed the whole point of the comment.

bullshite. You’re only looking at salary. Try looking at total compensation. MLB also pays for their housing (which probably includes all utilities). They also receive free healthcare, tuition assistance, meals and per diem during the season.
With all that covered why would you think these are poverty wages? What other expenses might they have that Major League Baseball is not paying for?

Single A - Raw peanuts
Double A - Roasted peanuts
Triple A - Roasted and salted peanuts

Article on Minor League Salary increases for 2023
The MLBrun site you linked is a fake site. It uses AI to come up with stories. We ran into this issue during the CWS when people were linking it saying that pitchers can only pitch 100 pitches or whatever non-sense they said.
However the info is mostly correct on this occasion. Low-A rookies are paid $400/wk, but now they get paid in the off-season where in the past they didn’t.
$400/wk x 52 wk = $19,800
quote:
For rookies, the salary will rise from $4,800 to $19,800. At Low Class A, salaries will grow from $11,000 to $26,200 while High Class A will grow from $13,800 to $27,300. Triple-A players will go from $17,500 to $35,800. CBS News

You have to admire a guy like Ryan Schimpf who played in the minors for 7 years before being called up.

And I heard a lot of them in the lower levels room together as many as they can to save money...And the concessions give what's left over after the game as well...

That’s what I was thinking so these guys are basically pocketing their salary with everything else covered by MLB

Why so hostile. I asked and got an answer nowhere did it say living arrangements are paid for.

This is why college is a better path unless you’re getting a million+ out of high school. Maybe even more. When you account for room/board/and standard of living and now NiL deals to supplement everything.

So basically it’s the same as joining the military enlisted. But your playing baseball and off half the year.
