Anybody else remember that nugget from a few years back? LSU athletics was sinking into mediocrity and oblivion??? I'd say that worm turned in a hurry....

In our defense it was a decline for just a minute.
Makes me Happy inside knowing others wish it was longer.

That was when the previous Athletic Director, what's his name, was in his heyday, doing everything he could to expedite the school's athletic decline.

I remember when my Aggie buddy said us taking Woodward from them and bringing him home wasn't a big deal. He even said they wanted to move on from Woodward anyway. It was a typical Aggie response.

I think he realizes now how wrong he was and what a big day it was for LSU.

It was bad when we had Alleva. Woodward has been a complete 180 though.
