Depends on what you mean by pros I guess? MLB is a long road.

You know exactly what they meant.

Everyone is happy for him.

You sound self-righteous, yourself.

Slow your roll there!
I freaking love Dugas as an LSU Tiger but the MLB draft is NOT a guarantee to play in the show

I love Dugas. I hope he plays in MLB. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. I never thought he wouldn’t get a shot to prove himself. I think most people feel the same way. I don’t know where your bitterness is from?

And most Triple AAA players make
35-40k annually. Sometimes the grind to get to the Show isn’t worth it.

This will be fun to revisit in 10-20 years

Not speaking for the poster, but there are about 6,000 posts here if you go back the last couple years hat say he has no chance to be drafted, or at best (today actually) 15th round if at all.

When he makes it to the MLB I’m sure those same “people” will be happy to be wrong. However, I have literally never seen anyone say he wouldn’t get drafted. If anyone did they are fricktards who know nothing about nothing and you’re wasting your time talking to them.

Gavin’s one of my favorite players ever at LSU but you really need to chill the frick out.

Then Dugas, Jobert, and Money all around 15 or a little later…but not 18 or 20.

18 or 20 is a little later than 15. Dugas and money might go undrafted. Jobert may or may not.

Milazzo will get drafted. Cooper will get drafted. Travinski may also get drafted.

Ignore a few stupid fans. Dugas is a tough kid with a lot of heart. I don’t think anyone ever questioned that. If anyone needed defending it was Jordan. He got it the worst I think, but showed in his last game.

He might have only got drafted because he was easier to sign?

Hell the draft isn’t even a guarantee you will play in the minors either.

Very happy for him to get drafted. Now he at least has a shot to prove himself which is much better than a lot of people. Good luck to him!

He got drafted cause he’s pretty good at the baseball.
