Beloso got Skenes good

Apparently the whole story about Skenes walking around the locker room saying he worked harder than everyone else was a joke that Beloso said to get back at him. Beloso said he told ESPN it was a joke but they ran with it anyway. Kinda wild for the media to paint that picture of a guy right before the draft but makes for a hilarious story

figured it was fabricated because it wasn't mentioned all year. It was the 1 thing ESPN hadn't regurgitated and that brought it into question.

Why? There is nothing that says he can't be both a high character/good teammate, that also leads in a way that he tries to push his teammates to get the best out of them. That's the way I took the story when it came it. I didn't think one thing negatively about it.

Literally came here to post this. Jesus that is hilarious. When that came out I was thinking “man I don’t think I’d enjoy being around that dude”, but it seemed kind of strange based on how Paul acted all year.

You wouldn't have enjoyed being around the Kobe Bryant's, Michael Jordans, Tom Bradys of the world either. Usually the great ones demand excellence from everyone around them, because they demand it from themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some semblance of truth to it with Skenes, and it doesn't make him one bit an a-hole, or douchebag.
