Glad to be back in the oven of Texas after 10 days in Omaha in order to rub our victory in the faces of my Aggie & Longhorn neighbors, friends, and relatives both on the field & in the jello shots competitions.
I told the Aggies that we don't print cups, but erect billboards with our accomplishments.

Hi. I’m gar89 + 1 and I’m a baseball addict.
It’s Friday and I just feel empty. I don’t post much but I read nearly every word of the BPB threads. Occasionally I’ll sub in for Cheer when he’s out, including game 1 of the World Series against Tennessee. I’ll never understand how you have the stamina to do that every game. Those 3 days in Omaha were some of the best of my life, and then it’s just gone….
I guess I’ll go back to real life now, whatever that used to be.

Hello everyone, My name is LSUcajun77 and I’m an LSU baseball fan addict.
I drove to Omaha Friday, then back to New Orleans after the Monday game. Little to no sleep all weekend really did me in, and today I found out I have Covid. So no baseball and I feel like shite, equals extra shitty.
BUT they can’t take away that National Championship.

I'm from Florida too. Some of my good neighbors are Florida fans. Not a single one of those frickers has called me to say congratulations. However, my Arkansas friends called me right away. Go figure.
I am sad too. I absolutely HATE this time of year. No LSU sports til September. Seems like an eternity. The only consolation is that we played til the very last day of baseball season.
