The stupid rule about being outside the baseline when running to 1st base and the bag being on the inside of fair territory needs to change.

Like college football it’s dominated by the South. I don’t really care if it grows but if it is going to, they would need some good teams from other regions to consistently be good.

For me this is easy, we benefited yesterday, but had that called on us multiple times.

It's a terrible rule and makes zero sense.

I want electronic strike zones, in some capacity. At least in CWS. That's my #1. It's ridiculous that some blind bus driver gets $350 a weekend to call balls/strikes over batters heads, while going back to his day job and hopefully not crashing the bus.

Freakin this. You can't even touch 1st base from the path the rule states you must run.

Worst rule in baseball easily.

This x 1000000! I hate this rule. The only other rule that really needs adjusting is the celebration policing. I want to say it was Clemson who got screwed during the Regionals that shite needs to change as well.

The lines are part of the lane, so stepping on the line is not a violation. Also, one foot in or on the line and the other foot in the air is permitted. The batter-runner must take two consecutive steps totally outside the lane to violate the rule. If interference is called, the ball is immediately dead and the batter-runner is out; any other runners return to the base occupied at the time of the pitch (NFHS 8-4-1g, NCAA 7-11p, OBR 5.09a11).

I don’t think the Florida player last night even touched the line.

This...they just need to put a dual bag at 1st to eliminate this...i would keep the rule for those that run on the inside of the line but put a dual bag so there is no question

You can be outside and approach the bag in the baseline. You cant be inside the line for the entirety of your path, blocking the play, and angle out at the last minute. It has been a rule for forever. It is a great part about baseball. You can push it a bit. You are probably out anyway, so make the ump call it.

Anyone that disagrees has no clue about baseball. Maybe not anymore since the BS rule came into effect but you are literally taught within reason to get in the line of the throw in those situations.
