Dream Heavyweight Boxing Matches

The Foreman thread inspired this.
What dream bout would you like to see?
Dempsey vs. Marciano (similar weight and absolute brawlers)
Louis vs. Tyson (finally an end to the Tyson hype)
Foreman vs. Liston (again, similar size and sluggers)
What bout would be your dream matchup?

Fury vs Ali.
The two best-moving heavyweights of all time. How would Ali get around the reach and mental toughness/craziness of Fury.
How would Fury get around the ring intelligence and chin of Ali.

Would have loved to see Prime Tyson against Prime Holyfield. I think after prison Mike was a different boxer.
Honestly Tyson vs Foreman would have been good as well.

This is a popular choice, but I don't know what changes. I guess people like to think that Tyson has a better chance of getting Holyfield out of there via knockout but Holyfield was never knocked out in his career, and he faced prime Riddick Bowe and Lennox Lewis. TKO'd in the 8th by Bowe but Tyson tended to fade past the 7th with only one TKO past that point (Ribalta), and no KOs.
Holyfield was just a bad matchup for him. Lot of boxers backed up on Tyson which fed right into his gameplan. Holyfield smothered him. Holyfield was not the type of fighter to ever get bullied by anyone, which Tyson relied on his opponent throwing their gameplan out of the window once they got in trouble. Holyfield could take a hit and maintain his composure.

Ali vs Marciano
Frazier vs Tyson
Frazier vs Tyson

Marciano against a young Cassius Clay in the early 60’s.
Could’ve gone either way.
Prime Ali vs Prime Joe Louis (leaning prime Louis)
Prime Tyson against Prime Foreman (leaning prime Foreman)
Prime Dempsey vs Prime Marciano (could go either way)

I’ve heard of fury but is he that good that the idea of him fighting prime Ali would even be in question?

Prime Frazier vs prime Tyson would have been epic.

“Tyson is not in my Top five world Champs. He could make my top ten,” pointed out Foreman.
“For me, they (heavyweights like Tyson) were real fast (small with muscles). But they were no danger to me.” (like Frazier)
One fight Foreman would like to have witnessed is Tyson vs. Joe Frazier.
GEORGE FOREMAN’s TOP SIX HEAVYWEIGHTS
1 Joe Louis
2 Rocky Marciano
3 John L. Sullivan
4 Muhammad Ali
5 Lennox Lewis
6 Evander Holyfield

Fury has Physical assets that no other HW in history possess.
He has also only fought recent heavyweights like Wilder, who moves like cold syrup.
A guy like Ali or Joe Louis would either expose the modern HWs as shams or show they should be shown the proper respect.
Dempsey vs Tyson would also be a Dream match. Both used the same style and had the same tenacity.

Tyson fricking loved and copied Dempsey. Cus would show him old films.
Said Dempsey fought like the opponent stole his lunch money and being smaller like Tyson would burrow in and rain upppercuts.
Dempsey beat a giant for the time in Jess Willard. Tyson struggled with reach and big guys...which is why Foreman is not bothered by him...just like he wasn't by Frazier.

What hype???… no real boxing fan(people who watch more than the big fights) considers Tyson a great heavyweight…declared “no mas” against Golota(a tomato can)… lost against every premier fighter he ever faced.. he more of a culture icon than a great boxer

I am talking about the hype on this board and the general public.
I have seen numerous threads on this board with guys talking about Tyson like he was unbeatable, it was just his out of the ring problems that doomed him.
It is insane how many people think Tyson was one of, if not the greatest heavyweight ever.
He did manage to beat Michael Spinks, so there is that.

And that’s the pinnacle to his career… Spinks was 31-0… the big “but” to that is Spinks had already retired for all intensive purposes plus it was only hus 2nd fight in the heavyweight division I think… Spinks earn 13.5 million dollars got knocked out in 83 seconds and never fought again… announced his retirement at the press conference after the fight… so that’s the caveat to Tyson’s biggest win in his career

Lennox Lewis vs Forman in their prime would be a hell of a fight…

‘all intents and purposes’, meaning ‘in every practical sense’
Otherwise, Spinks should've given more effort in the Tyson fight.
Or maybe he did retire that night, intensively...under 90 seconds.

Prime Holmes vs Tyson
I think Holmes just jabs him to submission and frustration
Lewis vs Holmes
Would be a heavier hitting version of the Rumble in the Jungle
Ali vs Louis
Fury vs Ali
