What’s the difference if Skenes starts for 3 innings or relieves for 3 innings?
I feel like maybe we could get lucky and have some low count innings.
Would love to have him 1-3 and be lucky for a 4th than 7-9 and he could have had one more.

I want to win too but it's not worth hurting the kid. I might would pitch him 2-3 innings if he wanted to.

Paul Skenes isn’t going to be thinking about the millions he will be making tomorrow. If they allow him to he will pitch until his arm falls off. When he comes out the game it’s going to be because Jay took him out, not because he asked to come out.
