Tigers need to be patient. UF does give up a lot of walks and HBP.

Thompsons only hope

Tigers finna put up some crooked numbers

Yea much more hittable. Def feels like we played the championship already, but it’s baseball and anything can happen.

I’m ready for Floyd to give us the game if his life today!

Ok ok I feel you but…

We have a lot of pitchers with grisly ERAs who absolutely shoved this week when it mattered most.
UF has really good arms and we need to take that seriously

Florida has some really good arms. Waldrep is one of the best in the country. Sproat is solid when he is on.

What I have learned to this point there are alot of great pitchers in this World Series and don't let the ERA's fool you.

Yea exactly, throw everything out the window, except for the weakness of Floridas bracket, we can keep that.

Waldrep is pitching the best out of all of floridas arms. Throw the numbers out at this point. Its waldrep, then sproat, then cags, in that order of effectiveness

Yea it definitely does. Wake drew a short straw being stuck with us.

Does Florida have their usual endless stream of lefties out of the bullpen like it seems they always do?

We gotta get a Sproat tonight. Waldrip has been on another level the past month or so.

Agree that it is Waldrep, Sproat, and then Cags.

LSU has a tall task vs UF...a weekend series without Skenes.

I think we are going to see more runs than we've seen this week, because the wind is blowing out by a good bit. I think this is almost a must win game for us, because Waldrep vs our bullpen is a tough ask.

You guys are something. Geez.
STOP COMPARING THEM FROM THE SEC TO OTHER CONFERENCES!

What are their numbers in Omaha?

There is no “finna eat BS”. Waldrep is a legitimate top 10 pick. The last time they faced him he went 6.2 and gave up 2 er and struck out 11. He left the game with a 4-2 lead. LSU won that with an incredible bottom of the 9th.

Waldrep's a stud but ORU did hit him around a bit. Sproat got hit by UVA too. Thankfully the starters are not lefties. They also have an all-SEC closer in Neely

I have concerns that LSU's pitching staff will be able to duplicate what they have done so far...especially with the wind reportedly shifting.

Wind blowing out does not favor LSU IMO. UF mashes just as well as LSU, and they have the advantage on the mound.

Wind blowing in would help neutralize UF's pitching advantage IMO.

In fairness to Florida, their schedule was much different than Wake’s. Much more difficult.
