Every team in the league has dudes who can hit open 3s.
Except us.
Hawkins can hit open 3s. He can also hit contested ones.
We needed this.
There's an argument that we could find a minimum contract guy that can shoot since lots of teams do.
We went a different route. Maybe he's better than that. I liked his shooting highlights but won't pretend to know more.

Why? He made the right pick with Lively and Dick off the board. Only complaint you can possibly have is he should have traded down but you are taking a risk of not getting your guy if you do. We don’t need another superstar. We need role players that can shoot and a guy who can protect the rim. We got one of those tonight. Stop bitching

Trey, Hawkins, CJ, Jose, BI - we finally have enough shooters like a normal NBA team.
Dyson looked like he can be a good spot up shooter also and could easily make a second year leap. Herb at the end of the year could really knock it down as well.
