Have you seen him pitch in anything but purple? We could have worn white at home on Friday or Grey on road on Friday. But we wear purple for the big guy

It has never been our Friday night jersey until this year. It was always the white jerseys, and then the new pinstripes last year.
Jay lets the starting pitcher choose the jersey. Skenes chooses the purple because the pinstripes don’t have player names on their backs.

I am big on riding the gold, but Skenes has wanted purple all season. Purple should be the color tomorrow.

Incorrect. White was our Friday night jersey until Skenes expressed to CJJ that he likes to wear purple and that’s why purple has been our Friday night color this year. If Skenes throws tomorrow, we wear purple. It ain’t broke, don’t try and fix it.
