You continually using this comparison doesn’t impress anyone. A beer is a beer. A life altering surgery or hormone therapy is no comparison.

We should be going the other way, putting more restraint on people under 25because their brains are not fully formed yet.

it is not particularly unusual for two deeply-held ideologies or beliefs to be in conflict with one another. Sometimes compromises are necessary. We cannot always be at ideologically pure. This is such a case.
For the record and for the thousandth time, I think it is entirely reasonable to preclude surgery for minor children, and even to preclude medical treatment younger than a certain age (puberty?).

The age of adulthood is now considered in the mid twenties.
Kids mature faaar later than they have in the past. These parents and doctors are fricking evil.
None of this is for egalitarian or moral reasons.

I’m not saying that it’s some sort of game changing analogy.

gender-affirming care for a child born with the wrong apparatus
This is absolute nonsense. There is no such thing. It is a mental illness that had up to a 95% success rate at curing before the radicals got a hold of the issue.
You support the mutilation of kids with a mental illness.

These professionals are no different from Josef Mengele.
He performed deadly experiments on prisoners at the Auschwitz II (Birkenau) concentration camp.
Mengele enjoyed castrating men. He would time how fast it took to do the procedure and then time how long it was for them to die.
Mengele was known as the Angel of Death. These professionals will be judged harshly by history. Anyone supporting these current atrocities are equally guilty of crimes against humanity.

frick you
If you can live through the God damned "pandemic" and still think that every "expert" has no agenda other than the pure pursuit of the truth of their field then you are either too God damned stupid to converse with or you are too in love with your own pedantic trolling to be effective. At best you have too much horseshite to wade through.
There is no settled science with this number of children being experimented on and studied longitudinally because this shite has not been going on that long. This shite used to be a last resort. Now some God damned nobody with a bachelors degree in whatever "counselers" study can set a kid on that path and in some states the parents may not be told about it.
Climate change kooks throw that "experts" garbage out all the time. Just because the self-selected tribe of "experts" in a field decide something is beyond question does not change the truth if they are wrong.
Frontal lobotomies used to be widely accepted as a treatment, too. Maybe that is an option.

Parents who consent to these surgeries are clearly not acting in the child's best interest.

You found a very slippery slope.

Time out.
It's so convenient to dismiss parents who want what's best for their children as "freaks" or "mentally ill" until you put a face on the aggrieved parties. Just last week on the 6 pm news on KHOU, Houston's CBS affiliate, there was an interview with an inconsolable young mother crying uncontrollably about her 6-year-old daughter "who's a boy" and that she and her daughter will have to brave the brutal heat and lack of money to make a 1000-mile trek to New Mexico to get the care her daughter needs, thanks to Texas' draconian new law.
It's so easy to judge, condemn and dehumanize real persons, until you see the reality of what's really going on.

which has overwhelming support among the experts as treatment for a recognized medical issue.
This is FALSE
Josef Mangele would be proud of you though
I get it, you want little kids to have their breasts removed or peens chopped off.
Normal society doesn’t.

Which completely goes against your fake premise that you are morally and intellectually superior because you don’t think “the state” should tell parents how to raise their children. Despite the fact that there are probably hundreds of examples of exactly that already in place, because sane, rational people agree they should be.
You enjoying the sexual perversion of children makes you neither sane nor rational.
Posted on 6/19/23 at 8:48 am to ItzMe1972
I think parents should be allowed to raise their kids they way they choose. Even if I don't agree with those parents. As long as EVERYONE gets the same rights/considerations.

That mom should have her mental faculties questioned. That child should be placed in protective custody imho.
You and Hank are supporting some evil shite. I’m not wrong invoking Mangele as y’all’s new age Saint, as this seems to be an almost religious experience for y’all.

So it’s okay for a parent to pimp their kids to pedos?
That’s a hard pass.
