Anyone use this site and can verify it's legit? It seems like it's on the up and up. I'm trying to get back into golf and need a decent driver but am not willing to spend a bunch on it. They have some really good prices.

It’s probably the most legit website for used clubs on the internet.

Very legit. I bought a hybrid from them and would for sure buy again

Should i stay away from clubs/drivers that are in "average" condition or are they fine? Cosmetics isn't a deal breaker for me.

I have been buying from them since about 2009.
ETA: The preowned website is owned by Callaway Golf. It's definitely legit.

Quick driver question. A few i've been looking at on that website has a length of + 1/2 in. Again, i don't play much golf, but i'm 6'1". Would that 1/2 in. affect me much.

Bought a driver from there a couple of months ago. came with the wrong shaft and after a quick call they sent me out a new driver with the correct shaft and I had it in a couple of days. tested them both out to make sure I got the one I wanted then sent back the original.

I just bought a set of irons from them last week. Got a great price and a great deal on my trade in and it was super easy. I plan on trading in another set for a driver or hybrid just to clear out the garage.

CPO is legit and highly recommend. As for condition ratings, if you buy something "like new" it will probably be brand new still in the plastic. I've never bought any other condition but have heard the condition ratings are very favorable to the customer. You can expect the stuff to be in good shape.

I bought a putter that was very good condition and it was basically brand new. I didnt see any signs of use

Very legit but get loft and lie checked. I bought an almost new set last year and the specs were all jacked up.

This! I bought a like new Odyssey Putter and was still factory wrapped with all the labels and stickers.

I just got a “very good” condition putter that retails for $399 for $289. Had the slightest little nick on it that I would’ve ended up putting on there anyway. Picked up an Epic Max LS earlier in the year too. Great site.

As others have said, Callaway Pre Owned is one of if not the best used club site on the web. Very legit, it's run by Callaway but you can get other brands as well. I personally use 2nd Swing Golf for all my used club purchases but I have certainly used CPO before and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
The club conditions are definitely better than what they report. If you get something in "Good" condition it will probably look like someone had one range session with it and traded it in. Never bought an "Average" condition club.
