I've bitched about his voice in the past and got downvoted...but it is awful. Almost as bad as a woman announcer. And this is coming from a woman.

Yeah, I am disappoint after hearing he is on the call. It's not his voice for me, it's that he is calling a college baseball game completely through an MLB lens. It gets old real fast.

The CWS commentators through the years hasn’t been one of them
Rooney, Ben, Burke, KP are so good at their jobs and it’s a complete shame ESPN brings in Ravech and Perez for the CWS
Tom Hart, although not the best, still extremely knowledgeable about college baseball.
ESPN needs to let this group go do their thing and leave it alone.

What I mean is that there is probably a reason he’s not on the mic for LSU/TENN… the whole world doesn’t revolve around LSU.. I know that’s a tough concept for some of y’all, but shite… y’all act like ESPN has to check with tigerdroppings before making any decisions

If they are trying to avoid having Ben call his alma mater, then why is Burke calling the Tenn game? Are they going to make sure Peterson doesn't get any Stanford games?
