I've gotta go with Kolaj Cobbins. He is criminally IMO despite being a solid 4 star by all services. If you watch his sophomore tape its obvious this dude is a missile

I’m right there with you. This class is a bag of meh. Everyone here will call you a star gazer though and bring up tyrann or justin Jefferson like all out 3 stars will turn out like them while forgetting to mention the countless 3 stars that never panned out along the way

I just watched his film. I have a different view of him than yours. I see a guy with typical LSU level athleticism. I don’t see Debo Jones, Kwon Alexander or Harold Perkins athleticism. However, I see a guy who plays very disciplined assignment football, has good instincts, and exhibits very good fundamentals, with good pop on his tackles.
I think he’ll be a guy who plays early and is a solid linebacker. Maybe a team captain. He looks like Jacob Phillips to me.

i hope this is true. the two positions that LSU truly needs some star power. and by "star" i mean studs. not ranking.
having said that, i have complete trust in Coach Kelly.
as far as the question in the OP...i have always like the kids that openly recruit others into the class. even if those types do not pan out on the field, they always seem to be the kind of leader in the locker room/practice field that a program needs.
