He wasn’t a very high recruit coming out of high school. He may have wanted to play in the SEC but maybe wasn’t offered. Now is his chance to play with the big boys!

True. Clemson is a little more high profile program than NC State though.

There’s an infielder out of Arizona State in the portal that looks promising. Looks like he had a couple wrist injuries. Ethan Long

After watching the success and growth of all the players who transferred to LSU, I wouldn’t doubt seeing anyone transfer here. Especially after the regional and super regional. LSU will absolutely be a super hot transfer destination because of the high profile kids coming here and having so much success on such a high profile program as LSU.
People still remember those 90 teams, just how prominent they were to the current college baseball scene. This was the model program and it looks like Jay has renewed that status. If they go dominate in the CWS then that should be the icing on the cake. Next comes a new stadium or renovations to the current one at least.

There was a rumor a while back that after Stanford's season is over OF Montgomery will enter the portal as he's from Mississippi and wants to be closer to home. It was between LSU and Stanford initially.
Montgomery is a stud and I believe bats 4th in their lineup.!!!
