Amazing how people cheer on JFK over the Cuban missile crisis, yet don't see how Russia and NATO is the exact same thing.

It isn’t the exact same thing. Not at all.

Russia was bringing nukes into Cuba. No one is bringing nukes into Ukraine.

Your belief that the United States could even legitimately enter into any type of agreement with Russia or the Soviet Union that prevents sovereign, third-party nations from exercising their own foreign policy is just hilarious.

Lovely.
Really. That is just precious.

Good googley moogley the insanity in this thread is beyond belief.

I just want to know why we don’t have the daily body count ticker like we did during Covid at the bottom of every MSM channel. If we could show everyone how the Ukrainians are kicking Russia’s arse, everyone would want to Slava like me.

Exactly, you are dense. Can't understand that the USA felt threatened by Russia in Cuba and we almost went to war over it. And now NATO next door to Russia makes them feel threatened just like we did.

I know, I know it is a very hard concept to grasp.

The president who was a Russian puppet fell out of favor when he shifted the govt. towards Russia whom the majority hated. The protesters threw him out.

Russia spent billions in Ukraine to gain favor as did we. Thankfully, our side won out.

In the days of Reagan, the US fell victim to the USSR, Red China, and other communist nations duplicitously breaching agreements. For the past 30yrs that equation has reversed.

We’ve gone around that carousel before. East and West have fricked around in Ukraine since time immemorial. Acting like the CIA’s frickery in 2014 is what “started” this ordeal is just retarded, and ignores everything that came before or after.

But as we all know, you believe that Russia’s public statements justifying its invasion accurately represent Russia’s actual motivation. (why you do so, given that Russia is one of the historical GOATs at messaging and misdirection is beyond me) I don’t. It’s a fundamental disagreement that prevents any productive discussion, to be frank.

Yanukovych wasn’t pro Russian, he played both sides for the best deal. Thats probably why the Russians didn’t save him, they were annoyed with his behavior.

Maidan didn’t represent the majority, for what it’s worth. They were an aggressive minority. But that’s all you need.

Where’d you hear that? A politician’s public address to his own people?

Russia suddenly became threatened by NATO in 2022? Because they took the 2004 expansion on the chin without invading anyone at all. So what NATO expansion was it that caused Russia to suddenly feel so super threatened that they had to invade Ukraine?

Ukraine should invoke the Hatch Act. It’ll help put them over the top.

Not suddenly. Russia has been VERY straightforward about the threat of NATO in Georgia or Ukraine for 15yrs.

"Cockles" is a reference to your heart (heart valves)

You thought "cockles" was "calling you names"?
