Chris Burke on ESPN saying it looks like a wise move in hindsight considering LSU scored (only) 7 runs.

Ideally Hurd would've started and 7 was still enough, or we score 15....

But a Win is a Win...one game at a time....the question of whether or not Skenes should have started is a story yet to be finished. Will know in a couple of days.

Definitely an asset that your ace can pitch a complete game where you have every bullpen arm still totally fresh and a win in your pocket.
Right on brother.

If anyone other than Skenes is pitching, no way we bunt however many times we did and we have a chance to blow the game open. I’d bet we would’ve scored more.

Skenes would have averaged more than 6 innings per start with that zone today.

Looked like the standard zone from last year.

Good start today for Tigers…rest of team gotta step up now and get it done.

The SEC should do a commercial with Miller Lite featuring Skip, Ron Polk, and the newcomers like Vitello and Vandy’s baseball coach.

The old timers coaching in the dugouts drinking a Miller lite. Skip and Vitello arguing with the home umpires.

Throw in Ben McDonald and Palmero as extras.

Throwing Skenes against Tulane, which is statistically the worst team to ever make the NCAA tournament, is retarded

Total Panic Move.

Proof that this coach has no confidence in his offense.

It's always a wise move to do what it takes to win the first game of a regional. LSU already has a big advantage, for several reasons
