We've been spending time in Denton,Tx where my mom lives and we see tons of local bands up there, all of them really good. 9n a weekend night, we will see 7 or 8 bands at Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studio all doing 30-45 minute sets. And Dan's has touring acts in a small venue. Denton has a big music scene as a result of the University having a great music school. And Denton reminds me of Austin circa 1985, small town with a big university and quirky characters all around. We will be back up there in a couple of weeks.

Next big shows for me will probably be So What? music fest in Dallas on June 25, Paramore at the Smoothie King Center, and Steve Vai at the House of Blues in July. Hoping to hit Biloxi for Guns n Roses & Dirty Honey and Blue Ridge Mountain Fests in September
