President Donald Trump’s administration has released $250 million in military aid for Ukraine, U.S. senators said on Thursday, after lawmakers from both parties expressed concern that the White House had held up money approved by Congress.

The money is intended for use by Ukraine in its struggle with pro-Russian separatists backed by Moscow. Russia annexed Ukraine’s Crimea region in March 2014.

On Wednesday, Trump and Zelenskiy appeared together for a news conference, at which Trump said he wanted Germany, France and other European countries to contribute to Ukraine’s defense.

Trump also diminished the substantial aid provided under the administration of President Barack Obama. “We put up a lot of money. I gave you anti-tank busters that, frankly, President Obama was sending you pillows and sheets,” Trump said.

Here's the deal. The total was $500 million. However instead of just releasing the money to the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine for them to distribute to their best buddy contractors Trump purchased $500 million in stinger missiles from Raytheon. The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine was PISSED. They couldn't distribute the money to their buddies.

THAT IS WHY THEY IMPEACHED TRUMP. He interfered with the money laundering scheme. Trump was fricking with them. Remember all these people from the Ukraine Embassy that testified against Trump:

They were so mad Trump was fricking with their money laundering operation.

Trump was actually right about Ukraine and Russia.

The ironic thing is that he is believed to be a puppet of Putin when he was lecturing the EU about how they need to build defenses against Putin and stop relying on Putin for energy or else something bad will happen. Everyone laughed at him for it.

Weird stuff, for sure.

Trump did the right thing by helping Ukraine defend themselves.

He released it because it had already been voted on and appropriated by Congress. You know, the way the constitution guarantees our government operates?

1. Trump held the money up and everyone bashed Trump saying it was a quid pro quo.

2. The money had already been voted on and allocated to go to Ukraine.

Why? Because it’s the right thing to do and has been the US’s role in the world on what to do when a situation like this arises. Been that way since 1945. Whether you like it or not, it’s irrelevant because that’s the way it’s going to continue to be.

Trump is Slava Ukraine.

Remember when many on here use to slam Jug Ears for sending blankets and praised Trump when he sent weapons?

I remember.

According to Democrat Politicians, impossible, Putin was Trump's buddy.
Putin was helping him get elected.

Oh, that was proven to be a lie, he is Hillary's bud after the "Reset".

Because he obviously thought it was the right thing to do at the time.

Why do weasels like yourself let Mr. Trump live in your thoughts 24/7? Do you really believe you are going to change the fact Mr. Trump will be the GOP nominee?

Now do FJB and rob.

Just a wild guess, but other than for some not as yet fully defined military-social objective, could it at least be a hint of evidence that he's really not the collusive, fawning, lap-dog to Putin as the Left has been grinding since one late night in November of 2015.

One more twist to the Alinsky point-of-light: "always accuse the opposition of exactly what you are."

After all, there's incontrovertible, inescapable evidence existing of the Left gushing and fawning over Russia and Russian leaders since Krushchev, but for some reason suddenly coming to a skidding halt that unexpected November night in 2015.
