I have been to Rome before but it has been 5 years. Any must go-to restaurants?

I haven’t been to Rome in maybe 14 years, but will be there briefly in a few months. From what my wife has read, Rome is a place to skip the fancy places and eat at smaller spots.
I’m sorry I don’t have exact recommendations; I’m sure others will. But take that for what it’s worth.

Marco G is a good low key spot.

I was there last year and would recommend Armando al Pantheon and Osteria da Fortunata.

Our favorite spot was Antico Arco, which is also located close to our favorite neighborhood Trastevere.

The best meal I recall having in Rome was a place called AdHoc.
