From the National Weather Service office in Guam:

As of their latest update the center of Mawar was 85 miles southeast of Guam. Max sustained winds at 155 mph.

Currently Mawar is going through an eyewall replacement cycle, so it may weaken some in the short term, but it is expected to be a Cat. 5 at landfall.

Do they evacuate everyone off the island or do they just all ride it out?

Yep, and Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance will be the only one providing coverage for them afterwards.

Damn. Nowhere to go to get away. I’ll never ride out another storm again. I feel bad for those folks.

Eyewall replacement on currently. Thats a damn sloppy 4.

It unfortunately has time to recover.

All that emptiness and it's going to hit that island head-on. Shitty.

From Ryan Maue on Twitter:

A little good news for Guam: Typhoon Mawar has weakened after undergoing an eyewall replacement cycle. Also, while the ocean water is very warm, the middle atmosphere ahead of Mawar is rather dry.

Mawar is now 120-knots at lower end of Category 4.

But will it affect the black and brown and marginalized communities of Guam the most?
