You may prefer Whataburger, but it's clear that their expansion into Louisiana has been very conservative. Hopefully this move by In N Out will push them to open more locations.
Every In N Out location I've seen is very busy. It's a lot like Chick Fil A in that respect. Love it or hate it....it's definitely superior to Wendy's, McDonalds, and Burger King. And like Chick Fil A, they seem to open up fairly close to busy freeway exits near Target, Wal Mart, etc.

Once an exclusive treat only for Southern Californians and visitors, In-N-Out Burger is now primed for a major expansion eastward.
In January, the Baldwin Park-born fast food chain, which is celebrating its 75th year in business, announced it would open restaurants and a corporate office in Tennessee by 2026.
“We get a lot of requests in different states to open, and I’m very happy to meet the customers here and make their dreams come true,” said Lynsi Snyder, the company’s owner and granddaughter of founders Harry and Esther Snyder, at a news conference with Tennessee’s governor.

“There’s a path there that might cross a few other states. So don’t worry – there are others that will be included in this plan eventually,” Snyder said, which certainly whet the appetite of In-N-Out fans in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Alabama

Doesn't matter when the staffed in-n-out in louisiana is going to be staffed by stoner teens and meth heads.

Louisiana employees will never be able to staff the In N Out
It will be a logistics nightmare when it opens

In N Out is as overrated as Whataburger.
Both were also better in the 90s.

Yeah that might thrill Californians, but I was pretty let down the one time I went.
