With Pearson seeming to find his groove again what’s everyone’s thoughts on this lineup? And again, this is just a what if, not claiming to be a coach or guru…

Crews CF
Morgan 1B
White 3B
Travinski C
Beloso DH
Dugas 2B
Thompson SS
Jobert RF
Pearson LF

Wouldn't be shocking to see that lineup tomorrow.

Our best hitting lineup previously forced Morgan to be in LF. Now our best hitting lineup may see him back at 1B. Morgan will be a plus defensively wherever he is. You obviously lose out on catching by not DHing Travinski, and Jobert is not a plus OF. Jobert isn't nearly as bad as this board makes him out to be though.

The order of the lineup I disagree with though. White absolutely must follow crews.

That’s the same lineup they used today. Idc about the order, those need to be the starters.

Milazzo is going to catch tomorrow and Travinksi is going to DH. May see Morgan back to 1B with Jobert and Pearson in the corner OF.

I would like to see Jones in the lineup tomorrow at DH dude needs to get back out there and figure out his swing to good of a freshman year to give up on him now

There is a small part of me that would like to see that line up with Nippolt taking over 2b from dugas until we get through the sec tourney.
That would solidify the infield and give dugas time to heal up and bust out of his slump. I think our Sunday pitchers could use all the defense they can get

Having said that, dugas has been surprisingly good at 2b

I don’t think there will be a lineup where White doesn’t hit after Crews.

Productive. With all due respect for Dugas and his heroics the last few years…….him batting lead off was kind of hurting us. Too many strike outs (I know, I know, the walks and HBP and OBP). Not so much this weekend but the last two. It was kind of unusual to put him there in the first place.

LSU needs some more speed running the bases. Team just leaves too many runners stranded way too often. Need a guy in there who can get an extra base on a routine single.

I still think Paxton Kling is going to find his way back into the lineup and I think we'll be better off for it. Dude was our leadoff batter to open the season. Jay likes him.

Beloso & Dugas are struggling

Need those 2 to get hot and keep Pearson producing.

White will be after Crews but also you aren't gonna see two lefties back to back vs a LHP right in front of Crews

I don't like Travinski batting clean up

Had this exact discussion last night. I like it.

I am not crazy about Beloso at first but want him hitting.

It is also interesting that Kling has seen so little pt since his injury. Joubert has had some clutch dingers so seems like just a tough coaches decision.

I would bench Beloso, move Travinski to 1B, put Morgan in the outfield and Jobert at DH, and play Milazzo. That would get a left hander out of the lineup against their LHP. I would flip Thompson and Jobert to separate the LH batters and I would insert Milazzo at 9. When we knock their lefty from the lineup I would put Beloso at 1B and Travinski at C.
