This was a big issue. Every one that I know that met Davis in person really liked him. But whoever ran his campaign - especially in the primary cost him a lot of good will.

I was in downtown Jax last year for the Florida-Georgia game, and visited the Van Zant House. I thought that large parts of the city were way worse than 70805 and all of north Baton Rouge.

Iirc she is the Trump advisor that helped Desantis out in 2018.
Desantis traveling around the world and the country "not campaigning for Prez" while one of his major cities gets lost to the dems is a great look....

Horrible advice. Your chances of getting robbed and even murdered are way higher in St. John’s county. Place is scary and I’ve spent plenty of time in the 9th ward.
