I'm a fan of my old haunt, Come Back Inn on W. Metairie. I think it comes with a pork chop or sausage and a small side salad. My suggestion is get it with the hot sausage (Patton's I believe) and an Italian side salad.

Zuppardos fried chicken is pretty legit and can get a 4 piece breast and thighs for 7 bucks. Thats been my Saturday snack after weekly shopping for weeks now.
