When a lane is ending (two lanes turning into one lane) and there's traffic in the lane where everyone is merging...what pisses me off the most is the driver who doesn't get over until the very last second and skips over everyone else who made the responsible decision to get over earlier.

That person who is pissing you off is actually doing the proper zipper merge. You’re the one wrong here.

You are supposed to wait until the end and zipper merge, if traffic police like you wouldn't be d bags and let people merge in it wouldnt be an issue

I feel like you don't understand how these work......and why your strategy bottlenecks the merge even worse.

Everyone always gets mad about this. Those people are not passing everyone up and getting over at the last minute. They are actually doing it correctly. It is called the zipper method. Both lanes should fill up evenly and at the point of merger each lane should take turns with every other car going.By doing this traffic doesn’t back up as far and it doesn’t take any more time on anyone.
