Definitely. Especially when getting to a Yiga hideout in the depths.

And the elemental ones are an incredible tool for tackling the Gleeoks (especially with a 2 or 3 shot bow).

Yep and it's honestly better than the Goron because the gems or zonite don't go flying everywhere.

The downside would be wasting an arrow, I suppose.

I have a few more Proving Ground Shrines to finish, as well as a bunch of Stable painting quests.

Obviously have Gannondorf left, too.

Down to trying to ID the last shrine that I need, and it's driving me nuts because there's a chance I've found it and unlocked fast travel, but didn't clear it. If that's the case, the innermost door on the map icon will be orange. There's so much going on with the surface map that's it's tough to tell.

I just found the last shrine. I won't act like I did it on my own, I looked up a few of them, but for the surface ones, I just constantly flipped back and forth from depths to surface on the map as I scrolled around to see where I might have missed one. The sky ones, I just compared to a map online and saw where I was missing some. There's no easy way to find those.

I'm finding that issue to now that I'm mid-late game. A map filter would be a great QoL upgrade, especially on a map that is this busy.

Yeah, my wife looks at me crazy as I'm on the couch flipping between the Depths and surface maps furiously.

Man I never thought of doing that until this post, so I went last night to the King Gleeok in the depths and beat him in like 3 mins using the great eagle bow.

I would pay $19.99 just for expansion pack that allowed me to fish. So many good spots. What I can build boats and go fishing off shore? Beach fishing? Ice fishing? Lake fishing?

Water mechanics are certainly sparse in this game, comparatively speaking. Especially given how many decent water features they included. Might be the next logical progression if they care to expand this map any farther.

Lake Hylia is historically a top tier destination in Zelda games but it's kind of a dud in BotW and TotK. Would love to have some excuse to swim to its bottom or just dick around on its shores.

Pushed through to the end. Great final boss fight. I think I like WW's Ganondorf battle better, but this felt like it was breaking the fourth wall. I felt personally trolled several times.

Still a shite ton of side content to do.

Trying to complete the Stables photos and kinda fricking around before heading to final boss fight. Have a Travel Medallion down below where I think the final fight is to take place.

Completed the final battle vs Gannondorf tonight. What a great last phase!

Does the star on your save file indicate that you finished the game?
