My poor FIL knows I absolutely despise providing IT support for the willfully ignorant, so when he called asking me to help a fellow American Legion member with a DMV issue I didn't immediately lose my shite. The man's wife had recently died and he'd never dealt with any of that. His insurance lapsed resulting in a flag on his license. This 70 year old man went to the DMV with his documentation and the POS at the counter told him to go to the internet and fix his problem there. I tried that process with no luck. I called our local State Representative and told her the situation. She called me back ten minutes later and told me to send him back to the DMV. When he went back he started to pull a number and every worthless State employee in the place stopped what they were doing and solved his problem ASAP at no cost.
Those bastards need a reality check about once a month.

Pay it forward. One law of the universe is that when you give you receive. If more people in society thought this way it could change the world. It’s nice to see stories like this hear to counteract the cesspool of humanity stories that we regularly see here.

It really does aggravate me when the news only tends to cover all the negative shite going on in this country/world, making it seem like that's all it is going on. A ton of good still comes from people but people tend to look the other way. It's sad.

My dog got out of the yard while I was at work a while ago. Someone saw him in the road and stopped, looked at his collar and then called me and waited with him while I drove back from work (20 min). Didn't even want a reward.

...it's moment like this I realize I'm a POS.
I paid for a small amount of groceries the other day for a lady at the dollar general, not out of kindness. But rather after her third method of payment, I just really wanted my gatorade and 2 stroke oil to go cut firewood.

They are referred to as oppressed minorities and I’m sure she disrespecting them in some way. They were just trying to get some food for their babies.

If we want to improve this country through immigration, only allow Asians, Indians and well screened Mexican applicants in. Odds are that will prove to be a net benefit for the country.
