Yep, dominant ideology matters little when you have activists in high places.

"Our democracy" is a farce and there is little rule of law.

My solution as a father would be to take it up with the person I had an issue with. But some fairy taking his kid to a drag show isn't going to be a man.

Do you understand why Christians are preaching?

I would advise 2 women to not approach a man that they feel is harassing them online.

Do you agree?

Hiding behind Christianity isn't a valid excuse to harass people and single them out and wish death upon them.

So no, that doesn't matter in the least.

why do you think he purposely chose these verses?

Quite simply because if I were trying to drive home to someone that the behavior they are involved in is sin, according to scripture and not me, and is going to cause them separation from God according to God’s own word, AKA spiritual death, aka the second death, I would first try to show that the Bible, NOT ME, says that they are worthy of it, so I can then follow up with the good news that Christ offers as an alternative to all of that, and because it is the Word of God that has the power, not my words, I would use the Word of God to do just that, not my own words.

I implore you to be honest for once in this thread.

First off, I have been nothing but honest about what I know, and since all I can do is look at what he quoted, because that is all I have to go on, I have to determine what is being said.

Romans 1:32 points to our deserving death for sin. This is also followed up in Romans 6:23 where it is clearly stated by Paul that “the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” That is a spiritual death or a spiritual life in Christ since the comparison is after our actual physical death. That is the context of what is being said.

For context, let’s look at what Paul said just previously in Romans 6:9 where he says… “For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.”

Notice the difference in between physical and spiritual death, and that with Christ, the second death he already paid for in full as a hope for mankind? That is what is being discussed here.

When we discuss honesty, let’s begin with this. Where does Christ ever instruct anyone to put someone to death, and secondly, where does this man call for their physical or even spiritual death SIMPLY by quoting scriptures???? I don’t see it, and it’s not because I’m not looking for it. It’s because it is nowhere in the article, but it is being said in this thread.

Dan Crenshaw may not be this new definition of "conservative", but he's certainly not a "Leftist"

The only thing about him that is conservative is his talking points during his campaign. Talk is cheap, his voting for a database for the vaccinated shows who he really is.

Also him essentially saying that Jesus and Superman are the same is eye opening as well.

I'm pretty sure you're confusing me with someone else. I don't believe this nor do I support people who do.

I used to think somewhere along those lines but as I stated my personal relationship with God has changed my opinions.

I'm beginning to think you are just someone who rejects God see opportunity in every satiation to oppose the grace of God's word.

How do you know how they identify? They may be men.

This is why kids are soft. Parents are cowards.

The literal title of this thread is dishonest.

For context

Why did the pastor himself not put any of these verses in context? You can do it all you want, but he did not. In fact, he purposely chose these specific verses to "trigger" them (his own words).

He wasn't preaching to them. He was purposely trying to get a reaction from them with these 2 specific verses because of the implication of violence.

I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about the pastor.

The pastor harassed this person by posting their pictures on line and said they're worthy of death and they should be drowned to death.

I said something along the lines of the pastor was hating on them.

You quoted that and said that I wasn't making sense.

So I asked if you posting someone's pic online then adding that they should be drowned to death is not hating...you've yet to answer that.

So...is it hating or not?

Or, maybe I'm just anti-harassing people and saying they should be drowned to death. Crazy thought, I know.

Didn't Jesus "fulfill" God's Law so we don't have to worry about it anymore?

They are a lesbian couple. They are female.

Pretty much. If anything, the preacher is a puritan dipshit who worries too much about the "sin" of others.

Laws against morality in any way scream puritanism. Spirituality is individual.

Am I missing a link to a video that has already been removed or do you have some way of viewing it to see what was actually said and I am not able to do the same?
