We've all actually watched the videos.
There's really nothing wrong with anything he said. He said he would address any concerns he had with Trump's positions in a private setting, which is perfectly reasonable for those ostensibly playing for the same team. He openly opposed many of Trump's spending policies, for instance.
I know you desperately want to make this more than it is.

If it's first/foremost an allegiance to the country and doing what's best for it/its citizens, DeSantis is MAGA AF.

He was a member of the Freedom Caucus, therefore certainly more Conservative than MAGA.
Faking MAGA would be a plus, it alleviates a lot of concerns that he will go left.

As I commented in a separate thread earlier today, I’m still trying to determine the “gotcha” angle with the release of the footage. Seemed reasonable with what I viewed.
I’m surprised your response actually garnered a couple of downvotes but this entire thing is turning so personal with some of the supporters of the respective camps that it’s getting silly.

desantis isnt doing anything, the florida legislators are the ones doing in, and desantis had nothing at all to do with it, he doesnt get a vote, but he sure tries to take credit for it by signing his name, which is his job, and then claining he did it
