Pretty cool interview. The late 90's hold alot of LSU memories for me. Say what you want about Coach Dinardo, but he did have some big wins back when any wins were glorious. LOL

I did not know the part about NCAA transfer rules for other sports beside Football, Mens and Womens Basketball, Hockey and Baseball. That was really surprising.

And dont give my son any SH$*, he is 12 and loves Sports Reporting.

When I was 12 I was trying to see how far I could let a spit go before sucking it back up.

That’s a badass experience for anybody, much less a 12 year old. CSB, happy for your kid

Your son's spot on Off The Bench was pretty funny. Especially when he tells T-Bob and Jacob he's a Cowboys fan at 5:45

Bring back the magic!

Gerry had the idea of locking down the state before Nick did and 2003 never happens without him.

Dinardo had Faulk, Cecil, and Rondell Mealey all in the same backfield at one point

Some will disagree, but Dinardo put us on the road to success. Things were bleak before he got here.

Amen. As a child of the Hallman years I didn’t think I’d ever see some of the nights in Tiger Stadium we were treated to. It’s like they were a myth until Auburn 95.

I became an LSU Tiger fan during the Dinardo years. I still remember bring back the magic. The Hallman years sucked so bad.

Dinardo brought back the “white shirts” for home games.

Didn't listen, but I'd say he's a million times better than Moscona.

Coach Dinardo is my favorite LSU football coach. For those of us old enough to remember, the 90s were awful. Coach Dinardo set us on track and brought us out of the pits if HELL! He might not have won a National Championship, but I respect him greatly for "Bringing Back the Magic" and the traditional white jersey for home games.

That was great. I listened to the entire interview and learned something about the transfer portal!

Your son did a wonderful job.

...and props to Gerry D for taking the time to be interviewed by a legit cub reporter. That says a lot about him as a man.

Those were some fun years, but we also had lower standards then. Getting to the Weed Eater Bowl was a big deal.
