Trip recommendation for 5 couples first of October

Looking for some recommendations on location for a couples trip (5 couples) for the first Thursday-Monday in October. Last year we went to Lake Tahoe, CA and the year before that we did Asheville, NC. We like to eat, drink and mix in some outdoor activities. Hikes, rafting etc.

Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Grand Canyon. Are all good spots for outdoor activities.

Perfect time to go to Colorado. Durango area is great. Drive the Million Dollar Highway. The aspens will be turning and it is gorgeous.
