Sometimes it's 30 minutes. Sometimes it's only 5-7 minutes.

It's never taken me more than 15 minutes to fully charge at the Winn Dixie in Metairie. While I don't think we are anywhere near ready for full implementation of electric vehicles, statements like this are not entirely true. Tesla Superchargers are very fast; it's the other charging stations that are keeping people off the road for excessive periods of time.

Why can't it be both? Many of you act as if it's all or nothing with the automobile world. There is a place for ICE engines as well as electric motors.

Perfect, I can do my six minute abs workout while I wait.

I'm assuming they charge you to use their charger? How much is it for the quick charge?
Posted on 5/1/23 at 12:05 pm to Cosmo
As long as they put them at bucees, shouldn't be a problem. EV owners can spend hours there.

Price per kWh varies by location and time of the day. Sometimes Tesla runs specials on certain holidays and long weekends where they provide free charging at from 12:00 am to 6:00 am or something like that.

woah man, i am a firm believer in ICE vehicles until we can make a transition to alternative fuels, but we gotta get power infrastructure in place to ease that transition

Something like you have to drive a Camry for 10 years to break even on emissions compared to a Tesla
Dumb as frick

Fights at Tesla superchargers should be trending on Twitter/TikTok soon

This is the answer. I can't understand why the so called progressive movement can't figure out something as simple as without infrastructure in place the only outcome logical to their movement is the failure of the US economy, mobility, etc. It is total ignorance to reality that can only be attributed to zero "real world" experience. A lifetime politician or govt employee has no idea how this world, economy, or just reality truly is.

I agree with this

So how much does it generally cost, and how far does that move you?
Posted on 5/1/23 at 12:22 pm to rickgrimes
This is great.... as an ALTERNATIVE. Telling the world this will be MANDATED is where I want to every single one of you EV owners to suck my balls for helping them push this bullshite.
