Is it just me or does he seem anti-LSU?
You don't spend four years in Oxford becoming an Ole Miss legend then suddenly start loving LSU. I don't know him, but he seems like a good dude. If he has a bias, it's justified.

Where he has LSU as a question mark.
LSU fans are on this site saying worse shite than Dellucci.

#1 team in the country. Yet, LSU fans perpetually looking for "disrespect".
I doubt he is upset about having to go to Ole Miss seeing as how it parlayed into a long MLB career. He's also married to a former LSU athlete and though I'm sure he has the means to live anywhere in the country chooses to live in the same city as LSU.
If you are always looking to "disrespect"...you'll always find it

Baseball media's coverage of this LSU team reminds me of tournament talk about the Zion/Barrett/Reddish Duke team. Too much talent to accept anything less than a deep Omaha run. Yet flawed enough that an early exit would shock no one.

Questions about LSU winning the CWS.
:onoz!:
If someone made you bet $10K on either LSU or the field winning the CWS, what would you do? I'd take the field. And I said the same thing last year re: Tennessee.
It's hard to win the CWS.

lol he's from BR, married to an LSU girl, lives in BR and can be seen most Saturday nights in tiger stadium wearing purple and gold. The dude is FAR from hating LSU. If anything he likes LSU at least as much as Ole Miss

I don't hear him much but have never picked up on anti-LSU vibe from him.

I don't get that vibe from him,
He seems to love baseball and if he is talking lsu vs ole miss I would expect him to be more favorable to his school just any one else.
I actually thought him and Big Ben were great 2 weekends ago it was only 1 game but the banter and talk about groing up in LA was enjoyable

Talked to DD a few times & he's said, his opinion, that Skip didn't recruit him because he had a "thing" about Catholic High players, had never been impressed with any. Said that he now always gives Skip hell about it, in a laughing way, & Skip is quick to admit he made a mistake. He has zero issues with either Skip or LSU, he & his wife are big Tiger fans, all sports, except for any game against O.Miss. Both he & his wife are good people.

He is understandably butt hurt. He would have loved to have played at LSU.
That was a miss by Bertman and staff. It happens.
He was an outstanding player and it’s unfortunate that he is still bitter even after having a nice career.
I wish he would have gone to LSU but who knows what would've happened. I do remember that at that time LSU had either 0 or 1 CHS players and the following two years signed 6 or 7

I know him personally and he is not butt-hurt. He is a great, down-to-earth guy. Pretty based. Also he kind of pulls for LSU when not playing Ole Miss. I would chalk it up as giving a level assessment and commentary.

DEllucci is a good guy and a good SEC commentator, IMO.

Good guy, him and his wife were at the LSU Womans Basketball game, before moving up into the Sweet 16. He helps out a lot with donating a number of Pro Baseball items to so many charities. He gives a ton back to the city, state and LSU. A big LSU Fan. One of the more easy guys to talk with.
I invited him to a charity golf tournament for First Responders (Police/Fire/First Responders/Service Men). He had a number of things going, but tried to make a stop by.
He is not one to shy away from helping the community.
