I have a little baby one. It's in a cardboard box in the garage that is slowly getting soaked in piss but devours strawberries and dandelion leaf. Also shitting everywhere.
A customer brought it in to my wife's vet clinic, found on side of road, appeared to be hit by car. No treatment was done, it seems mostly fine.
The original plan A was to give it a local wildlife rescue, they full.
Then Plan B to set it loose in the woods, but something isn't right with it, can't hop well, falls over on its side, stray cats in the area, raptors, it wouldn't last 24 hours. But it's a baby, hard to judge its abilities.
Then Plan C to just euthanize it for a more agreeable death than being eaten alive.
Plan D is thinking just to keep it a while and see if it gets more coherent and capable as it ages a couple more weeks and then release.
Plan E is to euthanize it if Plan D doesn't work.
Plan F is just to have a pet retard rabbit.
I'll get a pic up in a few minutes.

I vote for the retard rabbit option

As somebody who has a yard full of retarded animals I vote for this option

Your wife’s a vet but you are having a hard time here? I’d try to raise it and if not eat it. Or don’t

Retard? Send it to Pennsylvania. They'll nominate it for national office.

The "hard time" is ethical, not medical.
We have a retarded dog that was supposed to be euthanized, now it's our dog.
We have a retarded cat that was supposed to be euthanized, and now it's our cat.
Now this baby rabbit comes home...
See where this is going?
Don't even get me started on the new worm farm. And I've got a cage of crickets in the garage eating potatoes faster than a fat bastard at Sonic.

Send it to me and I’ll raise it. My kids would love it.

I’m in Bryson City. Not too far from you. I’ll throw it in with the chickens

Hows about I set it loose at Ellicot Rock and you and your kids go find it? If it was meant to be...

Georgia people to this day are still not welcome at that rock

It's EXTREMELY hard to keep a wild rabbit alive.

Seeing as how 1/3 of the rock is in Georgia, and it's a pretty small rock, how are Georgia people not welcome at it?

It was the center of an armed conflict in the 1800’s over a land dispute between North Carolinians and Georgians. Mountain people don’t forget
