Phenomenal.

I just discovered this spot a month ago.

Everything I’ve had has been fantastic.

Anyone here love it?

I am not in BR but try Gongura and Chettinadu (extra spicy). Those are some excellent spicy dishes, as well.

I’m glad you posted this because I always forget it’s over there since I’m on a different side of town. I’ll definitely have to make a trip this weekend.

Love the place. Although I tried #3 spicy out of 4 being hottest. Lit me up.

My wife and I love it. She gets the chicken shahi korma every time. it is a really good dish. I try something new every time. It has all been good.

I ordered goat vindaloo “spicy” and it was blazing hot. I wonder how hot the next level of Indian spicy is. Regular level has a just about the right amount of heat.

I've always wondered what #4 aka "Indian Spicy" is like. Will it burn my face off? I'd like to try it for shits and giggles, but still a bit gun shy from my attempt to man up on the spice level at a Thai place one time and it was the most miserable experience of my life. Like eating molten lava!!!

First time tried #3 spicy on the goat vindaloo and was profusely sweating for a few hours

Good stuff

Mallai Kofta $ 14.99
Cheese and vegetable dumplings simmered in a cream and almond sauce

Got this last time just to try something very random and unfamiliar, and it was phenomenal.

None of the Baton Rouge Indian places have a buffet anymore (thanks covid). If you want a buffet, you'd have to drive to Punjabi Dhaba in Hammond or Kenner.

If you just want to get 2 different entrees in 1 meal, Al Noor on Coursey has a combo type option on their menu where you can get a serving sized portion of any 2 entrees along with rice, naan and dessert. It's not a bad deal. I hit that up for lunch fairly regularly.

That’s a shame too. Typically buffets are just a lot of crap food, but they are a good way to ease people in to tasting ethnic foods. They can taste a couple of things and figure out what they do and don’t like.

Went again today. Trying to work my way through their menu and try all the various dishes. Today was Chicken Saag Methiwalaa and Lamb Vindaloo. Good, but not my favorites.
