Using Perfect Game ratings of the 2024 class she is not even in the top 50. We took the number 2, 4 and 38 rated players. One can make a case for LA softball players not producing in college with a few exceptions and they have gone to OOS schools such as Bama. Landry is the last one that comes to mind that was a quality player who could make a difference at a WCWS game. The rest have put up large numbers against poor competitors and dont show out in national level tournament ball. Just the facts, but she did go play for a good travel team in VA that loves Beth........hmmmm

Ya, Ok The Rant told me last year Macy Bergeron was here to lock down the Catcher Position and smash the ball. Gatorade Player of Year.

Senior Year HS- .459 33 GAMES 16 HR
Freshman year LSU -.203 33 Games 0 HR

So run on back and tell us who Ole Ramsey Walker hit those HR’S on and see how that relates to “Hogs steal a good one”

I be willing to bet she just another average player when the chips are down.

The whole 3 HRS in first playoff game = A Ted Bundy story.

After Further review she did this 3 HRS vs a team 5-6 under .500- The same completion Bergeron feasted on.

Softball player Ramsey Walker who plays for Calvary Baptis batted three times with three bombs. This was the first playoff game. She has committed to Arkansas

Woodward needs to find the swaggiest SB Coach out there and bring them to Baton Rouge.

WPS! We will be glad to have her.

Calvary HS has a great sports/athletics dept, in general. (esp Fb & Softb)
Similar to what Evangel HS used to be.

There are A LOT of Razorback fans in NW La.
Always have been.

* also, grats on yalls WBB Natty

It's a shame that Calvary isn't even the best in the area. Lol

Calvary? So she’s using a bay that won’t pass testing like last year. What was it, like 18 bats they brought to state that didn’t pass and got taken?

Her dad played baseball at Arkansas. Likely has a lot to do with her going there.

Huh? Hailey Van Lith plays for Louisville.

And if you meant Arkansas and LSU are competing for Van Lith, that’s not accurate either. Arkansas WBB doesn’t have a chance in hell to sign HVL.

BIG CAT

I may be wrong but, i believe her dad is Clint Walker.
If he is, he played for Arkansas baseball in the mid-90s. (if i remember correctly)

I think she may also have a younger sister playing at Calvary.
But again, i could def be mistaken.

(both points were told to me by a Razorback fan that attends games at CHS.. but take it FWIW).

It's time for Torino to go. I supported her hire and her refusal to make changes in her staff is her biggest downfall. I think she can be a very good coach but her refusal to make changes is worse than less Miles refusal to update the offense.
