A trashy frick who was breeding pit bulls in our neighborhood finally got run off. The 3rd time animal control was called after one of them was killed by the others seemed to have done the trick.

Yeah, like accidentally stepping on their tail and then getting mauled to death.

Until the pit bull snaps. Pit bulls are like the terrorist neighbor that everyone interviewed said,

“he was a good guy, minded his business, kept up his yard, never caused any problems”

“We just can’t believe he just auocode bombed the mall”

Screw a Pitbull, those things can’t be trusted!!!

Holy shite! That meme on the front page. I can’t even look at it. It’s made me laugh for 10 minutes. It took me a few minutes to even be able to read it. I’m a terrible person. Literally

Every chart reinforces the German Shepherd dog as the greatest dog ever.

Insane stats

raised by trash and its no surprise they turn into killing machines
this “no bad dogs only bad owners” shite is so naive. Some dogs ain’t meant for polite society and no amount of belly rubs and “whoojagooboi?’s” will change that.

You can read the conclusion on my thread when I got tricked into adopting one of these fricking hell hounds. These damn things start off sweet but something flips in their brain and when they break bad they break real bad.

Is this more of an indictment on the breed or the people who own pit bulls and how they raise them?
-------------------------------------------
To answer your question, it's the breed.
Example:
A poorly trained lab will 1) chew up every shoe in sight 2) bark constantly 3) jump up on people.
A poorly trained pitbull will 1) kill.

dangerous how?

The words on the graph indicate that they are more dangerous as they are more likely to kill a person versus other breeds.

I know words and graphs can be tricky.

That's just because pitbulls are better killers.

Well surely it's because they are just a larger percentage of the dog population, right?

Need newer stats, though I'm sure Pit's would still be on top.

Need to see Dogo Argentino on the list...

first of all that data is over 12 years old.

secondly, what does the data even mean?
what is 2500?
First, do you think the data on dog attacks have changed that much in 12 years?

Secondly, read the caption: relative risk of fatal attack by dog. A Pit Bull attack is 2500x as likely to be fatal as the average dog attack.

ETA: Data is a plural noun BTW. Datum is the singular form.
