I'm catching a game in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, and Chicago (Wrigley) with about two days in each city. I've been to Chicago but not the other three. What should I (and my wife, no pics) see and where and what should we avoid? TIA

We did a guys trip about 10 years ago…
Went:
1)Pittsburgh
2)Canton (NFL HOF)
3)Akron
4)Cleveland
5)Ann Arbor (Michigan)
6)Detroit
Pittsburgh is lowkey a great city, and the backdrop for the stadium is amazing. Cleveland was dead, but has potential, and Detroit was really dead as a city…
Chicago def makes sense with this trip to continue from Detroit… Wrigley will be the gem of the trip. Lots to do and see in that area.

Detroit Henry Ford Museum and day trip to Ann Arbor. Amazing how bad some parts of Detroit are.
Cleveland. RR hall of fame and football hall of fame
Cinn. Zoo and brewery. Pretty low key city.

Cincy doesn't make too much sense with traveling? Maybe Pitt instead.
Unless scheduling purposes with whos playing at those times.

If you like roller coasters, Cedar Point in Sandusky is a must. Stay an extra day there instead of Detroit.

Yeah, the Pirates don't have a home game that fits into the trip. If I really wanted to push it I could fit the Brewers in but it would take a day away from Chicago. I think adding anymore stadiums to the trip would be too much.

Yeah, I looked into hopping on the train and heading up to MIL from CHI on the last trip we did...its very easy and do-able.

If you like good beer there is a lot of legit breweries in Southern Michigan.

Easy day trip. Took the train up one morning, hit up a bar for lunch, took the bar’s trolley/bus to afternoon game, and train back to Chicago as soon as game was over. Nice stadium too.

This is what we did as well, and even stayed in Windsor Canada instead of staying in Detroit. But we were heading to Niagara the next morning and was a big part of why we elected to stay in Canada instead of Detroit

Detroit is very different from 10 years ago. Specifically the area around the stadiums.

Greenbush is a great pitstop between Detroit and Chicago.

Ease down to Kansas City for BBQ and a game at beautiful Kauffman Stadium.
A visit to the World War I Museum and the Negro League Baseball Museum will be experiences you'll never forget.
