I imagine that’s what heaven feels like. It’s perfect.

Cold (not ice cold) shower after 30 min sauna is pretty great.

I take a cold shower almost every morning, but not sure how to get it "ice cold". Do you have a method for that? What temp have you measured it at? In the summer, the lowest mine seems to go is 58ish. In the winter, maybe as low as 53.

There is research that shows you lose gains if you cold plunge/shower right after a workout. I think you’re supposed to wait a certain amount of time.

I was forced to take too many cold showers when we didn’t have hot water in medical school, so no thank you!

Not after a workout. But a cold shower while suffering with a winter cold is a slice of heaven.

You should wait 6 hours after training for cold therapy. Let your body do its thing on its own.

Or just do it because you like it. Cool with that too!!
