What did Clark say or do to get the technical?

Iowa was warned earlier when they tossed a made shot out of bounds after it fell.
So when Clark tossed another ball out of bounds, behind her back, the refs T-d her up.

It was a bitch call, but it was stupid of her to toss it out of bounds. A warning would have sufficed.
LSU was just flat-out better than Iowa today though.

She clearly tossed the ball out of bounds in disagreement with the call. That is not uncommon to be called a technical.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. It was a ridiculous call to make in that situation. The ref needed to let that one go.
Alexis Morris made a similar move by placing the ball on the ground 25’ from the basket and walking away from it after a foul call against LSU. Neither warranted a T.

i thought she got the tech for taunting lsu players but it was her getting t’d for throwing ball out of bounds, the horror

I thought the call was lame at first, but now knowing they were warned, the call was justified as written in the rules. She owns that one.

One of the few calls I actually understood. Clark's teammate got a "delay of game warning," (that was reported) for slapping the ball out of bounds after a made bucket. Added the fact that she did it out of frustration after a called foul, I don't see how the officials could not call that Tech! Both teams, Coaches, Players, even bench personnel were yelling at the refs and they did not give 1 Tech for the yelling. This was only because of the earlier delay of game warning.
