Send him to the bullpen for a while. Shores, Herring, or Edwards need a shot at starting game three’s.

Yep, most of his starts have not been great.

It has to be Shores, but that's a crying shame given how good he's been out of the bullpen.
We're going to need Hurd or Little to settle in as a middle reliever who doesn't suck. And that's a bit scary because Hurd can't throw strikes and Little stinks out of the stretch.
Or Collins, Money, Hellmers or Dutton.
Right now that's six right-handers with experience who can't get anybody out.
Wes Johnson has some work to do.

Hurd doesn’t have it mentally or mechanically right now.
Shores is not really ready either, but Hurd has been bad and someone else needs a shot to step up while he tries to work things out midweek.

His problem seems to be when he misses his spots, balls are right over the plate in hitters sweet spot, he throws strikes just in wrong spots

You are correct... somewhere during the drive to ths Championship, Hurd will be needed..... Johnson knows this.
