She’s gonna kill her business with this show. It’s gonna get a lot of people (from out town) at the show. But, when it’s done and come next week for regular business hours with the regular local folks, it’s gonna be empty….
New Roads is an extremely conservative town. Conservative with all races, black, white, Hispanic and everyone else. And ontop of that, there’s 2 Catholic Churches that’s walking distance from the restaurant.

I have no issue with this. Also have no issue with the state requiring it to be adults only.
Her clientele will let her know if it was a good idea or not, the way it should be.
Agree with this. You show your approval by attending or not attending.

I was always amazed the she and her employees street park directly in front of the business. I would want potential customers to be able to have easy access.
I wonder when I see black churches save spots up front for the pastor and "first lady." Hell, they always gonna be there. I would mark those spots visitor and hope to get a little extra in the collection plate or a new congregation member.

But why host a Drag Brunch? Is it a real money maker?

Dumbest thing I have ever seen. At my old location the dude next door always parked right in front of his forcing his customers to walk across the parking lot. Just shook my head.

They don’t give a shite. Their customer base is fine with parking wherever they please to get the oxtail special.

I cannot understand why they thought the customers would like to watch gay men dressed as women. Not something would want to look at ever much less when I am trying to eat.

I came to say the same. What an amazingly stupid idea.
This is what happens when you only watch network TV news.

I lived in New Roads for 3 years, I can not imagine this is going over well at all. What a fricking insane decision! New Roads is conservative as shite!

Obviously, Susan isn't related to the New Roads Smiths.

Lots of democratic freaks will show up to support this but in a month she will have no customers ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconspank.gif)

less than that if I had to bet.
And she will claim racism or some other mistreatment for her business failure instead of owning her piss poor decision making.

Ima go ahead and mark the address down and start moderately cloning their menu. Maybe go subtlety email the building owner and let him know I’m interested when his tenant goes belly up.
“Go woke go broke” isn’t just a cautionary tale for businesses. It’s also a money making opportunity for people with a little drive who can casually wait in the wings.
All you gotta do is know what NOT to do.

But small children at these things where dudes dressed as women are flopping dildos around is despicable.
Are they flopping dildos? I've never been to one and I don't see the appeal but as stated earlier...I support the business owners right to put on the show and I support the people willing to protest.
I personally wouldn't protest by not going just because they hosted a show.
And I believe if they are flopping dildos there needs to be an age limit!
