I felt like last night's game vs UCA was kind of a let down game like in football.

Tigers just got up for ATM and played great I thought. Now you come home lineup gets changed a little. LSU hosting a top tier Arkansas this weekend. I am not sure how you don't just go through the motions like LSU did last night.
I see threads about melts of last night's game. This team is good really good. Even in the loss to ATM I was not nervous. I knew they were going to win. Didn't happen but that's how confident I am in the coaching staff and players.
With previous coaching staff it was more about not how the the team was going to blow a lead but when.
So in short UCA had some scrappy players and LSU won 10 to 4. Was just kind of boring but it's hard to pound teams into submission every night.
Edit: This is a compliment to the team to the staff. My God you Ranters are hard to please.

Why is mid week different than the weekend? Just start with pitching versus a weekend game. Secondly, the players on the other team are on scholarship as well. Baseball is the great equalizer. Specifically, pitching can shut down great hitting. The fact that they scored 10 runs is an indication of a very good team.

I thought the 4 starters pluggede in played their best with an opportunity given them. With the regular starting lineup set pretty well the subs need to shine when they are given a chance. I thought it was well played except for some of the late pen action. Much work needed there!

Blake had 3 clean innings. Crews losing the fly ball in the night sky messed him up.
