And also has been one of the few hashtag virtue- signaling causes to fall to the wayside for some reason. Remember when it was everywhere? On Google? On commercials? What happened to that?
That came about during the Trump presidency. It was a democrat attempt to create a perception that he was responsible for the increase in Asian hate. Now that he’s out, problem solved; it’s all peace and love now.

Death penalty needs to be used on things more than just murder….

Will continue happening until society starts demonizing violence against Asians

Child rape.
100% support.

So by inference, and you can correct me if I'm mistaken, I'm interpreting your statement as one of intimation that current cultural conditions have nothing to do with these types of crimes - as in, "water is wet."
Is this a correct assessment?

They started this thing when this fricking incel killed massage practitioners/handjob specialists near Atlanta, some of whom were white.
Progressivism is a death cult.

The woke #stopasianhate hashtag virtually disappeared from social media as soon as videos like this one started popping up. Almost like stopping Asian hate was never really the point of the hashtag

It also doesn't help that society had stupidly declared it impossible for black people to be racist.
I know they have a forum but I don't think it's 'society'. I've never met a person who believes it. Even blacks I know say blacks can be racist.

I strikes me that the race/ethnicity of the victim did not give rise to this crime. She was not robbed/attacked because she was Asian any more than she was robbed/attacked for the color of her blouse. She was robbed/attacked because the perp KNEW that she was carrying a lot of cash.
It is likely that her being small and female also played a role, in that those traits made her easier to rob.

She has been enriched by his diversity.

Social justice is a white woman's disease. They are the only ones who think black people can't be racist.

Fair point. There is no evidence to prove that this crime was an ethnically-targeted hate crime.
However, it is undeniable, that the recent rhetoric of our political leaders, in our media and similar propaganda being peddled by our institutions all contribute towards the narrative that Black Africans are victims of a society which has mistreated and exploited them.
Wouldn't you then agree that it follows that those who are members of the Black African community who subscribe to these ideas, could convince themselves of the dangerous notion that they are somewhat 'justified'/'entitled' in committing these types of crimes because they feel that society at large, owes them something.
For you Black Africans on this board, am I completely off base in thinking this to be the case? Please chime in.

I don't identify as African, but this thug would have attacked this woman regardless of any message conveyed by the media and our politicians. She is a small person carrying a lot of cash who is incapable of defending herself.
People like this are so unbelievably stupid that they cannot support themselves without handouts or without taking from others. They will always prey on the weakest. At best, the current narratives just give them an additional excuse.

People who feel victimized
Yes, I'm making the argument that current U.S. politics is favoring a particular ethnic group as the one who has been "victimized". So much so, that they are getting "special" treatment.
"You chopped off my ancestors' legs. Well guess what, I'm going to chop off yours now so we can call it even." Great logic.
So much for "diversity, equity and inclusion."

This is exactly what I am driving at.
An 'excuse' because they feel that society "owes" them something. That is extremely dangerous IMO.

The scumbag who attacked her was probably a father of six just rounding up enough child support money.

Here is the GFM Link
Even more infuriating is that this woman was attacked on February 13. Not a word was said by Houston media. It took Chinese-Americans posting the video on WeChat to get noticed, then Andy Ngo posted on Twitter and it's finally getting some attention.
Her daughter set up the GFM 3 days ago and had to raise the goal yesterday because of the prognosis/extra care needed.
