Who are you loyal to?

A coach who barely got you above mediocre or LSU? Ask yourselves this before saying “I hope McNeese beats the hell out of LSU”
Coaches are a lot like politicians. You can like them but don’t get too attached the you have to sacrifice your better nature to just stay loyal to them.

Y'all are taking this way too personal. It's not like he left on his own will like Saban did. LSU gave him the boot and he started looking to coach elsewhere. He still has bills to pay like the rest of us.

My point here is, move on. Why start pulling for McNeese? Because they “did him dirty” or whatever?

Easy for me I went to school at McNeese and LSU. I chose to pull financial support from LSU basketball after Wade was fired and I stopped following college basketball. LSU isn’t serious about it so I stopped caring.
I will start financially supporting McNeese athletics (specifically basketball). I enjoy college basketball and McNeese will be my routing interest.

Now that I at least understand. You’re not exactly the audience I’m preaching to

What a shite take.

Wasn’t LSU #1 in the SEC for wins in Wades last 3 seasons? That’s mediocre now huh? He brought life back to the LSU program and made us competitive/relevant again.

Until Will Wade leaves which will be in the next three years?

The idiot who posted this is not a true LSU fan.

One sweet 16 appearance and wasn’t even coaching. Excuse me if I’m not impressed.

No one is mad at WW taking the job.
It’s the fricking weirdos who are cheering for him and literally saying “o can’t wait for him to kick LSU’s arse”

No need to pick sides. LSU will just re-hire Wade in 2025 after they fire McMahon. Or McMahon figures it out and we start winning. Either way works for me.

The will wade obsession on here is weird. I swear some posters would let him frick their wife if he wanted to

This right here. Its pathetic no matter how you spin it.
You can be mad about him being fired and think Woodward messed up and hired a terrible coach but to say you’ll cheer for the last guy before you cheer for LSU is ridiculous

I just wish this place would move on. Baseball is #1. Spring football is in full swing. You’d think this place would have other shite to talk about.

Will Wade, not a fat troll like Scott W. Or a woke LSU athletic department.
Posted on 3/13/23 at 10:23 am to Frogman93
I am loyal to a school that seems not to give a crap about one of its athletic programs. We had a coach who literally put his own money into the program. He understood what it took to make basketball successful long term with consistency at LSU and was doing just that. Something we have not had in more than 30 years.
We have an AD and school president who decided they could do better. Historically speaking their chances of doing better were very low. They didn’t and now we are in the ditch.
As someone who has sat in the PMAC and watched a lot of bad basketball over the last 25 years, yes I’ve got a right to be pissed off that the program fired the one coach that had consistent success over a 5 year period.

So let me get this right.. you just want people to move on and talk about something other than Wade while starting a topic about Wade? See the dilemma?
