Staying at the Cosmo Thurs-Mon. Probably do Circa/Fremont one day.
What are the best sports books on the South end? Cosmo's is nice, but small. They are holding a watch party in their ballroom for $150 a day, open bar and betting spots. Is that worth it to avoid the crazy crowds at the other sports books?

Went the year before covid. It was incredible. Definitely the best trip of the 30 or so I've made out there.

Jump on the vegas locals pages so you can see the absolute hate for EDC and its attendees lol

Not quite Vegas but I will be at the Beau Rivage for the second weekend.

I was there for work during the tournament one year, and there were games being played at UNLV. It was nuts. I got caught in an AZ pep rally that sprung up in the MGM by the restaurants going toward the monorail.
If you go I suggest having a reservation of some kind in a sports book. I think they do this for certain events. Lines for betting will be long, and so will the waiting for drinks.

How’s the trip going? Would love to be in Vegas for the tournament, gonna try to go next year. Would be a blast to be around so many other people with a shared interest in every game.

It's not as bad now with the apps and some of the sports books have kiosks now as well.
This is the best weekend in Vegas hands down. My friends and I have been going for the opening weekend for 20+ years.
Back when all the major bowl games were on or around jan 1, that would come close to March madness. That's lost it's luster due to the dilution of college bowl season and ever changing formats.
shite, when i was there, i stayed at the imperial palace, as my buddies were at harrahs. So you know how long it's been for me, with imperial palace.
but the dealertainers at the IP were a laugh a minute(lol)
